Patients choose a dentist on Google before they ever call

They compare ratings first

A practice with 40 reviews at 4.8★ wins the click over one with 6 reviews, even if the dentistry is better.

Unanswered complaints linger

One unanswered 1★ review at the top of your profile does more damage than ten quiet 5★ ones can repair.

An outdated website leaks bookings

No tap-to-call, no online booking, slow on mobile: anxious patients leave rather than search for your number.

How it works

Three steps, almost no staff time

  1. 1

    Free reputation check

Run the instant website check, then we review your Google profile and reviews and send a short report within 2 working days.

  2. 2

    Call and setup

A 15-minute call to agree a package. We get access to your Google profile and set up review requests. Setup takes about a week.

  3. 3

    Ongoing growth

We monitor reviews, write replies and send a monthly report showing what changed.

Why Smile Signal

Built from inside dentistry

Smile Signal was founded by a dental student, not a generic marketing agency. We understand patient anxiety, clinical language, GDC guidance and confidentiality, so every reply we write protects your practice as well as your rating.

About the founder

Our ethics promise

Our promise: every patient gets the same request after their visit. No rewards, no fake reviews, no filtering out unhappy patients, and replies never confirm that someone is a patient or mention treatment.

Questions

What practice owners ask us

Is this allowed by Google?

Yes. Google encourages businesses to ask every customer for a review. What it bans is offering rewards, asking only happy customers, or writing fake reviews. We do none of those.

Do you write or buy reviews?

No, never. Every review comes from a real patient. Fake or incentivised reviews breach Google's policy and UK consumer law (the Digital Markets, Competition and Consumers Act 2024), and can get a profile suspended.

What about negative reviews?

Every practice gets them. We reply calmly and professionally, without confirming someone is a patient or discussing treatment, and invite them to contact the practice directly. A steady flow of genuine reviews keeps one bad review in proportion.

How soon will we see results?

Profile improvements show within weeks. Most practices see a clear rise in new reviews in the first 1–2 months once requests go out after every visit.
